Hi there, I am Qizhen Ying
I am a 1st year DPhil student at Active Vision Lab, University of Oxford (Exeter College), jointly supervised by Prof. Victor Adrian Prisacariu and Dr. Yangchen Pan. I recently completed my MSc in Advanced Computer Science at Oxford, and before that, I obtained my undergraduate degree in Mathematics at the University of Bristol, where I conducted ML research under the guidance of Dr. Song Liu.
I am passionate about building physically plausible generative methods that can adapt to a variety of scenarios. I believe effective and stable generative techniques can produce more reliable synthetic data, and I hope these models can also learn how the real world evolves over time.
Research interests: Physically plausible generative models, World Models, Reinforcement Learning.
